Myth Buster Monday!

Buildings made of concrete and steel do not need termite protection.  MYTH!  Termites can find their way through tiny cracks in concrete and masonry structures.  They will find and eat wood trim, wood windows, or wood cabinets.  Wood roof decks are vulnerable, even if the entire building up to the roof is a non-wood structure.  Even building contents like wood furniture are susceptible to termites.  The best way to deal with termites is to stop them before they get inside.  The most common method of termite prevention involves bait stations placed around the exterior of the building.
