Throwback Thursday - First Baptist Church Hampton

Foreman Seeley Fountain was honored to be the architects for The First Baptist Church of Hampton for their relocation project.  Designed in 1990, it was the first of many future church relocation projects to come our way.  Located on 15 acres off Ga. Hwy 20, this 20,000 sq. ft. facility was designed to have a 500 seat multi-purpose room that held the congregation's worship, fellowship and education needs.  The room was central in the design with additional education spaces, kitchen and the administration area surrounding it.  Pastor Terry Quick led the relocation effort and the church has continued to grow and expand in the subsequent years due to his and their long range vision.
